An acid thickener is a specialty chemical, often a fatty amine ethoxylate, used to increase the viscosity (thickness) of strong acidic solutions, primarily in cleaning products like toilet bowl cleaners, rust removers, and industrial descalers, allowing them to cling to surfaces for better cleaning while also offering corrosion inhibition and wetting properties. These additives improve texture, application, and performance in acids such as hydrochloric, phosphoric, and citric acid, preventing separation and ensuring longer contact time for effective cleaning. 

Soda Ash Light (sodium carbonate, Na2CO3cap N a sub 2 cap C cap O sub 3𝑁𝑎2𝐶𝑂3) is a fine, white, odorless powder with a low bulk density, differing from dense soda ash only in particle size, not chemical properties. Highly water-soluble and alkaline, it's crucial for detergents, glass, chemicals, water treatment (pH control), and pulp/paper, offering rapid dissolution and uniform distribution in applications needing a finer powder.
